Welcome to our site.  I hope you will read more about my values and priorities.  More importantly, I hope you contact me to share your ideas.  A campaign should not be just a candidate telling you what she or he thinks.  It should be a conversation. 

Each of you is an expert in your profession, your neighborhood and your home.  I need your input to learn about your suggestions, needs and priorities.  If you share your insight with me, I know our campaign will be the best it can be. 

Now is a critical time for our Democratic Party in Chicago.  Will we return to our roots of protecting the working classes and the disadvantaged?  Or will we continue to cater to cronies for cash?

It is time to stop excusing power-hungry elected officials by telling ourselves, “that’s just Chicago politics.”  If Chicago can send a brilliant man to change America, I know we can clean up our own backyard. 

For me, politics can and should become again an honorable profession.  If you join our effort, our campaign will become the example.
